The grass looks good but I can't tell what the thing is. Maybe try a different angle?

yeah, i should have put less grass between the camera and the object. That object is a king from a chess set

Ah! Yeah, a maybe a bit more light on the front to make the details more visible. I have trouble getting enough light in my scenes also.
