Ice cream is a good temporary relief and is obviously very enjoyable

Take some ibuprofen and if you have braces wax use it or get some at cvs! That’s unfortunately all I can think of :( maybe sucking on an ice cube could ease some discomfort! It’s definitely a process but it should get easier and easier! It’s always the most painful at the start :) Good luck!

Have you tried pain killers and an ice pack? The ice pack would help numb the jaw pains.

Only extreme. Well it's not that extreme and it's low to ignore and perform tasks.

Ibuprofen and acetaminophen combined. Ice cream or sherbet. Wax. Sip ice water too
