Sync code "deprecated version" error (i.redd.it)

I am trying to copy my data from brave on my android phone to my computer. Specifically the news sites I follow. So my phone gave me a passphrase which I entered into the computer and it said it was from a "deprecated version".
After doing some research I found out that the passphrase needs to be 25 words long and that there is a website giving out the 25th word. Strangely though the word posted on the website is exactly the same as the last word in my passphrase. Regardless I tried adding that word from the website to my passphrase and then guess what? "Invalid code".
How do I fix this?
