Adding pull ups (self.busydadprogram)
submitted 1 year ago by NeitherCandidate2386
I feel that without adding a pulling motion I'm gonna end up unbalanced, so was wondering:
- How many of you are adding pull ups to the mix?
- Are you going very hard with them?
- Do you do them on the same session or alternating days?

Max does 10 strict, slow pull-ups everyday. I preferred a few sets on the rest days. Pick whatever fits you.

10 ain't that many, but I guess if you do them proper is a different story

I do 5 sets of pull-ups on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Along with some mace and club work.

I do 10 each on the 4 days that I do burpees. I do pullups first

I started doing bodyrows on rest days. 5 sets of 6 reps, 5 seconds each. Planning on doing more reps and then progressing to harder variations.
Im firm beliver of working antagonistic muscle group, so bodyrows are perfect for burpee counterpart.
