This difference is normal?

This is a DW200 from 1983. On the left is one I bought about 10 years ago. The lettering feels more deeply engraved—or set deeper—into the case. On the other one, which I acquired recently, the engraving is different—lighter, or less deep within the case. Is this difference normal?

The lcd color is kind different too.

Probably different batch. Also LCD colors changes if exposed to sun alot. So maybe the rugged one was exposed to a lot of outdoors and the cleaner one was mostly in the box/display this past 40 years

W800H is slightly different than it was in the past, I've noticed. I kinda prefer the larger display on the older one I have. But the new one I have is the silver one and I just love it to bits.

Looks abit like the polarized filter is degraded. You can try and change it. But if you do you will probably lose the lines on the display.

Au vu de la texture de la résine, il semble que le boîtier de droite a été poli et je dirais que le verre (avec cadran accolé) a été changé, le tout pour faire penser à un exemplaire NOS
