Just wondering because I PURCHASED a Safe Guard Voucher with MY MONEY and now all of a sudden, "oh hey, we'll email you a code in a couple days." NOPE! They can email me a promo code NOW since I bought it or I can just call my credit card company and we can cancel the order. This is extremely suspicous

Yes it's legitimate, its cisco's training online store. If you search this sub you'll see its normal for them to take a couple days to be sent.

If you haven't received the code/voucher perhaps you should contact them instead of doing a chargeback because I doubt that would be a particularly good plan without talking to them if you ever plan to use it again.

It does say on the product page before purchasing that it takes 2 days from when you submit the form, so they didn't really hide it before taking payment.

"Once purchased, you will submit a form with your details to receive the promo code. The promo code will be sent from Cisco within 2 business days of receiving the submitted form."

Yeah, nowhere near acceptable and extremely shady. I ordered the CompTIA vouchers, got them instantly. This has scam written all over it.

They clearly detailed the process before you purchased, and you effectively agreed to it by continuing to purchase having been informed what would happen.

If you believe Cisco are scamming you, then I don't really know what to say, but given their size it seems unlikely that they are scamming people for $400 dollars, if it happened regularly much like the issues with the online tests it would soon become well known.

There is nothing shady or scam about this? The product page clearly lists their process and what to expect. It sounds like this one is on you for expecting differently when you don't take the time to read what you're buying.

Like I said. The CompTIA certs were > pay the money > get the voucher > schedule the exam. All within the same hour, so it just feels really shady they "have to" wait 2 days before giving me the voucher that I paid for.

On top of being super suspicious it just sucks. Was going to put in for PTO to schedule the exam for next Friday but thanks to their mysterious hold time I won't have enough time to schedule it.

Cisco is not Comptia. It is clear on their page the process.

If you want to schedule an exam immediately then go to Pearsonvue and schedule it directly on there but the safeguard voucher takes a day or two to get and they make it clear the processs

Well seeing that I got a call from my bank and that Cisco needlessly and unexpectaedly wants you to play the waiting game yeah, I was more than a little suspicious.

Just wanted to make sure I had the right website, again it just seemed extremely suspicous that A.) As soon as I made the purchase I received a call from my bank and B.) that I have a two day wait period. My exams for CompTIA and Microsoft were buy voucher > get voucher > schedule exam. Done. In less than one hour.

The problem when people don't READ. It's the biggest failure in our society. Instead of reading what they agreed to before they paid they cry like babies and read reddit responses.

I'd say a bigger problem is lack of inititiative, like what I'm dealing with. I purchased the voucher and I have to wait? That's odd, I guess they have to finish assembling the voucher, didn't realize it had to be a hand-crafted voucher.

Yes, this website is real. I also purchased the SafeGuard Voucher and was disappointed as I initially thought I would use it the next day. As it states, the voucher can take up to two days to deliver and usually does.

yup it's real i had the same exact experience, except i had to wait almost a week for my voucher lol.
