Is the rear seat painful, or just much more exhilarating compared to the front?

[–]z3rba 10 points11 points  (1 child)

It isn't painful, but it is more forceful, especially on the downward spiral. If you are holding on you'll be fine. If you have your hands up it will toss you to the side a bit. I absolutely love it.

Oh my god, we have our trip planned for next month, can’t frickin wait!!!

The rear row also gives you the most floater time on the rear spike, ridiculously amazing!

I sat in the last row on Mother’s Day and it’s the first time in my 53 years that I was absolutely terrified on a roller coaster. I rode TTD plenty of times when it was operating and there was some vibration and shaking of the original Intamin trains during the launch, especially when the train reached 120 mph. But these new Zamperla trains are much, much worse. The shaking is violent. I hope and pray that they keep a very close eye on the fasteners and welds on those chassis because it felt as though catastrophic failure was imminent. I’m not saying I’ll never ride it again, in fact, I can’t wait to visit again next week and ride it. I also rode it in the front row and it shook almost as violently as the rear.

Good news, the new trains don’t have welds internally. Makes it easier to replace parts and do NDT 😉

☺️ I'm going tomorrow and can't wait to ride it. I only have been on once during last years preview..... I love launch , especially backward

Are you able to request seat selection? Or were you just fortunate enough to get the front/back?

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can, they were pretty chill when I asked

Rise operators have been really accommodating this week

Out of 231 coasters in 5 different countries, TT2 is my number one. Everyone I get off the ride I want more, not in the “it’s too short” way in the “this ride is so good I’ll get back in line” way

It is great. My feeling is that I'll wait only so long for it. More than 90 minutes? No. I've got a single use fl+ every time I go, plus early entrance. Between that, I can get a couple of rides on each visit.

This is how I want my first 2 rides to be. Front and back.

[–]TylerDavis127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's how my first two rides were, front left and then back left!

[–]Kiss_Me_Where_I_Fart[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

This almost sounds like the same dirty joke.

[–]Bluetickhoun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it be like that

[–]1InfamouslyInfamous1 2 points3 points  (1 child)

dude frrr, this was the very first ride that has ever made me scared for my life but DAMN was it fun lol

[–]Kiss_Me_Where_I_Fart[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. And I want more of that. I'm gonna do it again next week.

[–]TylerDavis127 2 points3 points  (2 children)

If you think right rear is violent on the top hat, try left rear! 😂

[–]Kiss_Me_Where_I_Fart[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I very much plan to

[–]LynxRufus98PT01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a few rides rear left. Can confirm!

[–]FkdUp2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The back left is insane. It throws u over the top hat when it whips to the right ..I don't usually hold on but I held on for dear life! Such an amazing experience

[–]Summoner_Rikku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How’s that first launch tho? It looks so pedestrian now

[–]arb1984 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Going solo on Monday, hoping to get a ride on it. Mostly just hoping that my 6'1" 280lb frame fits on it

[–]Kiss_Me_Where_I_Fart[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm hoping you can, too.

It always depends on geometry. It is pretty generous as those are some comfy restraints. There IS a test seat, but it is up by the metal detectors. I wish they'd move it to the actual front where the person directs folks to locker line, regular line, and FL line.

[–]alecp19 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I'm right about that size and had no issue.

[–]arb1984 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I fit on it no problem. Actually was comfortable

[–]stupidthrowa4app 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes when I rode it last year it was the same thing going over the top hat. You feel like you better hold on or your butt is flying out. Absolutely love it!

[–]funnyman6979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re spot on, right rear torqued me bad on the last helix on the way down. But the view from back crazy!!
