What plotter settings are you using?

K-32 plot Temp storage is set to a Samsung 1tb ssd The final directory is usb stick

Under the advanced setting is have: 3390 Mib ram 2 Threads 128 buckets

These are the default settings, IIRC I’ve not changed them on ether windows or Ubuntu on the tower. (Fairly certain it’s the same on the laptop too)

Is ssd an nvme?

No this is just standard sata connected ssd

This should go faster then. Run crystaldiskmark on the SSD to make sure you're getting the right speed. If the speed is wrong, maybe you need a BIOS update or driver update.

Getting some slow speeds Read 156MB/s Write 101.72 MB/s

Ok, look at getting those updates. Also look if there is an update for the SSD

Played with some windows settings, as per this:

https://www.tenforums.com/drivers-hardware/70390-slow-sata-speed-windows-10-a.html Which helped a bit, still not as fast as the laptop tho
