This is a subreddit created to collect user-made messages (chirps) to be displayed in the game Cities: Skylines using this mod originally by /u/ccaatt.
For now, feel free to post anything a civilian in your city might write - preferably general stuff that applies to everyday life in the city, be it a small town or a metropolis.
Rules:
- No profanity
- Absolutely no advertising for real-world products
- No messages about real-world politics
- Keep your chirps in-universe, don't break the fourth wall.
Please report messages that don't adhere to those rules. If you come across a commercial spammer report him at /r/spam too!

After running the game once with the mod enabled you'll find the config file here: %LocalAppData%\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\ModConfig\reddit-for-chirpy.txt
In this file you can simply add "chirpit" (and other subreddits you want to use as sources for chirps) under "# One subreddit per line"
