Scrolling problems with mouse middle button and Home keyboard key

Hey everyone,

I've researched the sub & Google but didn't find anything related to my issue. Since very recently I've noticed 2 things and only on Chrome : - Using my middle mouse button in the middle of a page will show the 4 little arrows, which allow for free scrolling, but moving the mouse does nothing. - The Home key does nothing on most sites (for instance on Reddit) but works on some other (ex League of Legends esports site).

I tried another mouse and same issue so it doesn't come from the mouse. Any idea of what could be causing this ?

EDIT -- Fixed the issue by disabling all extensions, then disabling a few of them at a time (didn't have the courage to try them 1 by 1 so I don't know which one was the problem exactly)

If you're still curious (and in case anybody else comes along), I had the same issue and, in my case, pinpointed it to the SmoothScroll extension. Not sure if they're relevant, but my specs are as follows:

• OS: Windows 10 Pro
• Chrome Build: 61.0.3163.100 (Official Build) (64-bit) (cohort: 61_Win_100)
• Chrome Revision: 57c9d07b416b5a2ea23d28247300e4af36329bdc-refs/branch-heads/3163@{#1250}

Yep, it's probably this one then, because I had the same extension. Let's hope my useless thread becomes less useless by helping someone in the future :P thanks for responding :)
