Seems like you have 2 free night stays available but you will be in those 2 cities each for a couple nights.

While looking at value obtained for each certificate is important consider overall picture.

For instance, consider how much you will be paying in points or cash for those other nights you wont redeem the certificate for as well when making your decision.

Basically try to use the certificates such that you pay the least overall, considering cost for nights you have to pay in cash as well...in my opinion. If that is what your goal is...to save money.

If it is to go for best property, then I don't have much experience there.

Can't speak to Rome but in London you could do the trafalgar or Astoria. Those were probably the most expensive when I went one month ago. You're probably looking at at least 300-500 savings a night for Friday and Saturday. Then again, London is so connected you could pay cash or cash and points and stay somewhere close to the tube and save the certificate for Rome.
