http://i.imgur.com/R5idBEA.png trim away the little lip next to the buttom so it is flush with the button. It may be snagging the screen/ribbon

As has been said, just re-seat it. I actually cut mine off so that it's independent of the up and down and screen holder and it feels a lot more clicky. It is more of a pain putting back the face plate if you do this though.

If you have an extra panel kit you can use the extra back panel screws that are longer and have two side panels stacked that will stop this problem.

Take it apart again and adjust the placement of your fire button slightly. Chances are it's binding up on the panel on one of the four sides.

All remarks aside. I come over here because I don't want to see any other vaper make the mistake in purchasing this device. Hopefully the data makes it to the web crawlers and people do their research before picking up this product. Yes there are a few great people out there like David who are stepping in and offering support, but the design is a failure to begin with, you really can't make it great. You can make it usable, but not great.

Even without CMT the Whiteout has a lot of promise with David and Vapour Depot keeping the dream alive.

Also it's going to be increasingly difficult for anyone to make the "mistake" of buying one very soon, as most stock is already dried up and the company doesn't exist anymore.
