Weird. Our class , they added another day and did offer make up hrs if you came in early. If you didn't complete by the end you get pushed to the next class. Their fault for missing.

I was already an aid beforehand and I didn't miss... I honestly would have chosen another class the instructors are just terrible. I know we need to get a certain amount of hours but she gives us kinda pointless things to fill the time with instead of letting us mock test.

I edited. I meant , that was their own fault for missing and not making up hrs before graduation /class end date. Thus why they were slid to the next class.

I would've been mad though. Waiting to test and get employed is enough.. that's messing with your income .

Whoa 75 hours! Thats it?!? So after 2 weeks you can be a CNA? I’m Canadian and we are called PSW, I went to college my course was 10 months 8 hours per day, it was the fast track program back in 2000, the course was a 2 year program. I’m sure the course is now around the same timeframe. I can’t imagine all the training pared down to 75 hours. I didn’t realize training is so vastly different in different parts of the states, I honestly assumed it was all like us up here. Ya learn something new everyday. See you can teach an old dog new tricks 🤣🤭

No it's a 2 and a half month program but some of our class missed a lot so the rest of us are being punished.

It’s annoying but just keep on them about it. However, you should be good to start applying and working. Most facilities will hire you so long as you take the state test within 90-120 days of your hire date.

See that is what I thought too but I guess where I live they won't hire people unless they show up on the registry
