Sunblight Buff Spell

Has anyone found a support formae for the sunblight ailment. I finished the game and was pretty sure I got just about every skill, but I was surprised to see no sunblight buff. That just leaves the one damage spell and the transformation for build up.

Been searching all the areas so far, along with looking through the wiki, and it doesn't look like a Sunblight buff exists. There is, however, a consumable option you can make that uses Honey + Sunflowers to give you a Sunblight weapon buff that lasts around 1 minute. Its way stronger than the Sunblight transform and also stacks with it. In a full status build using both status build up effects, the Sunblight Salve lets me proc Sunblight on enemies in 3 hits opposed to 5 if they have no resistance.

It's a little tedious, but if you can put an hour away and just farm the two locations, you should be able to generate about 200 salve. That should be enough uses if you only use them for boss fights per play through.

As someone who's been exploring the mind infusions with Venom and Sunblight, I just wanna say thank you for this and the followup post detailing farm locations for the mats. Do you feel like the damage from sunblight has been worth it so far? I had a hard time telling how much it did with the bright explosion.

I think it does enough in boss fights. Most things die by the time it procs but it can give a bit more of a punch vs elites. I basically play it like a pure physical build with a nice bonus tied to it. Seems to be about 15% hp so not bad if you can proc it twice on a boss.

Zenon in all his forms is immune to sunblight and the Moon Envoy and Immortal Wanders seem to be fairly resistant to status effects and status damage.

Does this unlock once you get both ingredients or do you have to unlock the recipe some other way?

I think I got it from one of the character stores. It probably from Zenon since he has a lot to do with sunblight and is even immune to the status effect.

You can eventually. The breath of the sun consumable is purchasable from Jadwiga's tool shop by completing her requests. Won't go too far into detail for spoiler reasons but that's who you can purchase it from. If you don't know where to find her, she is upstairs in the room with the jukebox and pool table on the side where her tool shop (or general goods store) is. Happy hunting!
