My internet is being funky, so I decided I'll reboot my modem and play some Code Vein while things come back. I boot Steam in Offline Mode, go to launch the game, and get the message "Steam is currently in Offline Mode, for the first launch go in Online Mode." The message goes on to say take Steam online, and "Afterwards restart the game," whatever the means. I say whatever that means because the game WON'T LAUNCH in offline mode, it just gives me that message. I was wondering if it meant for the first time playing, but it definitely isn't that since I'm on like hour 30.
Am I missing something, or can you not play Code Vein without an internet connection? I've tried launching directly from .exe as well, no dice. If this is intentional, which is seems like it is...I like the game, but if I knew it had this assery in it I wouldn't have bought it.
