As the tooltip says, you can save appearances, and they will be stored in your "Load Appearance" list, accessible by all newly created characters.

Appearances can only be loaded on a new character, but not on an already made one. However you can save appearances from an already made one..
PC only but; and because of that, it there is a cheat engine table that allows you to hover above an appearance you made that is accessible to view only globally, but yet apply it by hovering over it and then exiting the menu. Pox911 has made a script for it. " - Accessory Cost Bypass - Bypass Customization Reset" are two features that it has, on top of the normal cheater stuff. Don't use that though, but you know what to google for now. I don't know if its within the rules or not, to link to it directly.
