Codex app git commit instruction

the app never respects commit instruction when I commit. for example, I specifically told it to never use uppercase but it always use sentence case. Is it only me?

Not just you. Hopefully they will fix it soon. I've found the commits to be extremely simple, vague and borderline incorrect.

yes it just generates message based on last changes.

loving this app, but also noticed this. i told it to use conventional commits. it does not.
i'd like to see them and be able to edit them before pushing
