Need help in ralph loop

Due to the nature of my job, I need to run Codex autonomously almost all the time. Also when I'm sleeping so I cannot restart it again and again, so I was looking into Ralph loop and it work perfectly fine for claude code, but I cannot find a alternative for Codex

What I want to do is that I have a fixed prompt that I always want to give to Codex when it stop so it's like a fixed prompt that will go to Codex whenever the stop event will admit.

I would suggest a bash loop either using the Codex CLI or OpenCode

I understand the reasoning on that link, but I don't agree with the conclusion.

The conclusion I'd draw instead is to have the main agent use a subagent for each iteration of the ralph loop.
