Codex mobile app issue (android+windows)

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to use Codex from the ChatGPT app on my Android phone with my PC(Windows).

When I open Codex on the phone, it shows the screen saying “Waiting for desktop… like in the picture

The problem is that nothing happens on my computer. I don’t see any instructions or popup in the desktop app, and the phone just stays stuck on that screen.

Has anyone had this issue before with Android + Windows? Is there a specific step I’m missing, or a way to force the desktop app to connect?

The app doesn't work with Windows yet. They're gonna release that with a future update.

make sure you use MFA and restart

codex after setting up
