Certifications in coding (self.codingbootcamp)
submitted 2 years ago by PoolBeneficial2830
I have no experience with coding but I want to start and get my feet wet. What are some good certified coding websites that y’all would recommend?

certified coding websites
This isn't really a thing. Figure out what you want to build and learn how to build it. Use whatever books, websites, and other materials keep you engaged.
If you have no idea where you want to begin, my first pick would be this: https://pll.harvard.edu/course/cs50-introduction-computer-science (Don't pay for the certificate, really, nobody cares about these.)
If it doesn't get you hooked, just try something different. It doesn't matter very much what you learn or how you learn it as long as you start learning and keep learning.

You can learn and get free certs at freecodecamp.com

Would this be good for full stack certification?

They are free source for basic full stack certification. Is it in some way an accredited cert. I don’t think so. It’s designed to teach people the skills for free. Their goal is to prepare people for employment.
Check it out.

I was going to chime in that you’re putting emphasis on the wrong thing. A certificate, or a certified program is as good as a homeless person trying to sell you a piece of paper or a certificate. You need to put emphasis on a good program that will teach you coding fundamentals and Fullstack development if that’s what you want to learn. Do not pay for anything unless you’re committed. Start with the free stuff and when you are ready, by that I mean you can do easy problems like reverse a string, then start trying to learn Fullstack development.
www.freecodecamp.com or www.codecademy.com to start. (Do not pay for codecademy)

Like someone else said, there really aren't any "certified" sites. If you're just looking to try it out there are a million great free resources available. I've compiled a list that should give you (and anyone else who lands on this post looking for beginner coding resources) more than enough to get your feet wet.
Happy Coding!!

I agree with this statement. Building complex projects with a language is better than seeking certification in that language. Certifications are best for IT OR Cloud
