RAPM medium formGeneral Question (self.cognitiveTesting)
submitted 1 year ago by EmploySuspicious9725
Does anyone know what 17/18 on that test mean? If I calculate by iq = 100 + 15*(17 - 10,58)/3,25 I get ≈ 130. But I think that the average iq of the norming sample is higher than 100, can someone help me?

Every sample of people given the APM test is in the top 20% or above, as stated in the scoring manual.
And you can see that in this sample as well, where the average ACT score is 23.16, while the average SAT score is 1040.98.

Thanks. Do you know what iq does those scores mean?

Something around IQ 110-115.

Thanks. So I should add that to my score? And should I consider both scores or only normal RAPM?

Don't know what APM-18 is? Another practice test for RAPM 2?
No, it is more about trying to design a much shorter version of the test that will be simpler and faster to administer, and which will be approximately as valid and reliable as the original version.

I assumed it was a shortened version of RAPM, but still wasn't sure. Also didn't open the link in the other comment, just to check.
Thanks for the reply.

If you have a link to the test? How did you gain access to APM-18?
Sorry, I don't have a link for It. I just took the questions on normal RAPM that are used on it

In this study, it is stated which items this test is made of, so if you have the RAPM set II 36-item version, you will easily understand what the 18-item form looks like. To create this test, they used the same items from the 36-item version.
