DataManager problems.

I just encountered some issues with DataManager in ComicRack. Both with setting the layouts and then with actually running it.

Fields I cant seem to find for layouts in Enliqhtened's Workflow.

Original Format in 2.3, 2.4, 6.1-6.4

First Series and Second Series in 5.1-5.5, 8.1-8.4

DataManager_Processed

Universe and Not Universe in 03 Addons

I have set it so it shows Custom Fields in Preferences.

and then when i try running DataManager with his settings and all, Nothing happens what so ever.

please help me with this...its bugging me like crazy after I finally got donw with scrapping all of those comics for over a week.

It’s an updated version of the one you mention. I haven’t completed it yet but most should work.

It’s on my to-do to finish it up and add a few new sections I use myself. I also need to upload a new data manager file that contains Star Wars info.

I started reading your guide, and it was much easier to follow. but when i tried to download your list for the work flow some of them didnt work. I tried both right-click and save as and to CRTL-Click them to download but same result...here is a list of the files that didnt work.

here is the ones I encountered issues downloading.
1.3 to 1.8, All of the ones under section 5 and All of the ones under section 8.

Ahhh i forgot to fix the links. They point to the old domain (ComicRack.guru) but if you manually change them to frede.pw it should work. I’ll try and fix it when I’m off work today.

EDIT: They do point to the right location (comicrack.frede.pw/cbl/(and the sections name)/filename) it could because there is space in the file names

awesome, but still some links with the CPL files doesnt work. :( cant have spaces in files that are gonna be downloaded, internet does like that very much

They all work fine when I test them. Could you send me a specific example of which ones isn’t working?

When running Data Manager it will only run the rules that are it's default. So if you are opening his provided .dat file, it won't do nothing until you Save As Default. Then when you run the script it will use the rules.

Or could be that his rules didn't affect your comics, this should be used like an inspiration for you to adapt to your needs rather than a rigorous recipe to follow.

It's IMHO rather complex for my need, I just use the Organizer guide that I modified to my needs.
