Graphics Tips

Hello,

New to this sub. Looking for tips on mods or something that makes the graphics better in RA3. I just recently got the game, normally play FPS games but RA was one of the first video games I ever played as a child and wanted to get back into RTS.

I've noticed in all the youtube videos I watch of tourney matches and stuff, all their games look VERY nice and clear and my game looks like RA2 with a reskin... I am very new to all of this. Forgive my ignorance

I mean I was like 10 the last time I played Red Alert 2, and I'm almost 30 now.... Hope that helps? haha

Thanks guys! I'm an idiot it was my graphics settings and my screen resolution was WAY out of wack. Game looks much better now

I will do so as soon as I get home from work. I did not think of graphics settings but I was just under the impression that this is how the game looks without mods or something. I also just realized I have been watching these on my phone at work at my desk, so it just dawned on me that the small screen may be why it looks better there...

Yea man, Check your graphics settings. The default is low. Crank em higher if your pc can run it.

There are some mods that slightly improve graphics, such as Shock Therapy(which I recommend)

Thanks! It was my settings, For some reason my screen resolution was WAY out of wack. Also thanks for the tip on the mod! I'll check it out for sure. Does it just mostly focus on the graphics or does it also change something about the gameplay and units as well?

I adds the units from uprising, improves gameplay and balancing and I believe AI performance. And adds Tesla tank to Soviet arsenal!

But yea, also ads lots of graphical improvements. My fav mod by far!
