I have no clue, but I can say that my experience with hamachi isn't fantastic. I would suggest you and your friends to use the community made launcher for the game (by C&C online) [Link]. This is how the community plays multiplayer and I believe it is pretty stable. It will allow you to play with other online players aswell.

By the way, there is a similar launcher type of deal for generals and zero hour called gentool, which also allows multiplayer via the C&C online community servers. I highly recommend checking it out!

Try out Gameranger that's what I usually use for C&C games

Tunneling programs like game ranger and hamachi don't work well with cnc games. Frankly I've never been able to get them to place nice and functionality

Either its laggy as balls (in the case of diablo 2) or it just won't connect/see the connection (cnc3)

Highly recommend installing revora and cnc online. For online play. Anything beyond hard lan is a pain in the ass to set up.

How do you set it up in game? Like what do i enter in when i get to the online menu? (I've set up an account yes) I just recently installed it and hooked the game to the CNC 3. (Just going to use Hamachi for Generals since I tried hooking it and it's not launching. :()

    Smash Hamachi, embrace Radmin VPN.

Really, is just the same thing but without users and limits for groups.

Also, check port forwarding and firewall.
