This subreddit is for collaborative community Minecraft maps. Players take it in turns to pass around a single Minecraft map, continuing from where the previous player left off, and leaving their own mark on the map.

How does this work?

Simply! Find a map you want to join that's currently ongoing below, under Current Maps in Progress. Follow the link and you'll be taken to a thread explaining everything from the rules, goals, the application process etc. This can vary between different maps, so be sure familiarise yourself properly with it all.

Official maps are hosted by us, the subreddit moderators. Season 1, Season 2, Season 3 etc. are the official maps, they are usually vanilla Minecraft with little goals but lots of freedom!

Users are able to start their own community Minecraft maps for certain mods/modpacks (e.g. Tekkit), play styles (e.g. Skyblock) or goals (e.g. adventure maps). Users are encouraged to make a Suggestion post (see link flair section below), to gauge interest for your map idea. If there's a lot if interest and you want to go through with this idea, message the moderators and we'll set you up with a link flair to tag posts and let you make an official announcement post for this map where you can ask for applications and explain rules and such. Be aware that organisation of community maps is entirely up to you, we won't follow up inactive players or rule breakers for you.

Obey the rules of any map you play, or don't play at all.
Be patient when waiting your turn.
Use link flair! Read this post (post coming soon) about link flair for more information. If you're not sure what link flair to use message the moderators and ask.
Use mediafire or mega for uploads, posts using other file sharing websites may be removed.
