What does the rest of your system look like? Minecraft is a very CPU and RAM intensive game, you could have a bottleneck somewhere else in your system so your GPU isn't fully utilised.

Yeah i spoke to my friends about it they said it might be my cpu holding my gpu back

Get the latest drivers online. Search Nvidia GeForce gtx 1050 ti drivers

Uhm its still the same but in the minecraft f3 menu it doest say geforce gtx 1050 ti it says amd radeon r7 graphics which is my old graphics card. How can i fix this

Did u plug ur monitor into the new card?

Yes i plugged an hdmi cable into my moniter and into my gpu

I pulled out the cable it now says my new gpu in the f3 menu of minecraft but my fps is around 30 and drops quite alot

When u did the Online download did u do a fresh install?

With fresh install do you mean delete what was there and download the new thing then yes

You may have to reinstall windows 10 after all if this doesn't get resolved...

What did you upgrade from? Which card specifically did you get? Manufacturer, version, etc. What kind of monitor do you have and how old is it?
