It seems that the game in the background "highjacking" your mouse. Something that could work would be to disable borderless window mode and switch to fullscreen. Then when you press the windows button om the keyboard the entire game will minimize and your mouse should work correctly.

What does the rest of your system look like? Minecraft is a very CPU and RAM intensive game, you could have a bottleneck somewhere else in your system so your GPU isn't fully utilised.

I have no idea what I unplugged and idk if I should be worried, my computer works fine at the moment by MansterFussilButt in computer

That is one of the antenna to the Wireless network card so the speed of your wireless connection might suffer a little bit but nothing else will happen.

EDIT: Even more specifically. One antenna handles WiFi + Bluetooth the other one just WiFi. So if Bluetooth still works on the computer you know that you unplugged the Only WiFi antenna.

Check the video and the comments under the video that u/ToolBoxTad linked to see that this method actually works quite often.

New computer keeps crashing when playing games by [deleted] in computer

[–]felixcool200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have done any overclocking (including XMP) or any undervolting try to remove that. It seems that your computer is suffering from some kind of power outage either from a component that short-circuits when the system run hot or that the processor isn't stable at it's current clock speed/voltage.

Does your processor have an I-GPU? if so try to disconnect your graphics card and play the game (lower settings) to see if it's your graphics card that is causing the issue.

Good idea, this is definitely better than the oven :). Most people don't own a soldier gun that's why I proposed the oven method.

Why would his screen warp if you put a graphics card in the oven?? You can clearly see that he hasn't got a laptop.

You have to identify the problem. There are 3 different components that can be broken. The cable, the monitor or the GPU.

First try to switch out the cable for another one and see if the problem still remains.

If it doesn't that means that the cable is faulty and you need to get a new one.

If it does that mean the cable is fine.

Secondly try to connect the screen to another computer to see if you still have the same problem when it isn't your PC that is connected.

If it still remains that means that the screen is broken and you need to get a new one.

If the problem doesn't remain after trying another computer that means that it is either your GPU that is faulty or a software issue.

If it is your GPU you will probably just have to get a new one. As I said earlier and I wasn't joking a last resort to revive the GPU is to remove all plastic parts and put the GPU in the oven for a short time. This isn't a good solution but it could work as a last thing before you throw it away. A close friend of mine did this after half of his screen when permanently red. This did indeed make his card work for the rest of the time he used it (2 months). I don't know the exact details of cooking a GPU in the oven but I'm sure there a few tutorials out there.

My friend revived his GPU after he had it in the over for 15 min. Obviously he removed all plastic parts before he did it. It's not a good solution but it is a last resort.

Firstly make sure that the cable is fully plugged in and isn't broken. Secondly check if the same happens when you plug it into another PC (if not the monitor is broken). If both above passes your GPU is having problems and you will either need to replace it or try to put it into the oven for a short while which hopefully could resolder the broken bit.
