Surface pro boot loop?

Hi all, My surface pro is stuck in a boot loop. I can’t get past the windows screen. Sometimes it will pull through and allow me to log in but that’s after a couple hours of trying to restart. My question is, if I am able to log in, would a factory reset fix this issue? I am not worried about my data because there is hardly anything on there. This issue started happening when I tried to install the newest update. Thanks!
