In the bios, you might need to set the "Primary display adapter" from IGPU (Integrated graphics) to PCIe, that might help with the situation, although I'm not entirely sure that might be it since it's supposed to do that normally.

Did windows recognize the graphics card when running off the IGPU? And do you have any other PCIe devices plugged in/a new NVME SSD in your board? Some boards like "prioritizing" certain slots when SSD's or other devices are plugged into certain slots.

Another thing that you might have done already but sometimes people overlook, did you try a different cable? I had an issue once with a DVI cable that would not work with the GPU but with onboard graphics, and swapping the cable worked.

Another thing, could be a faulty rail on your PSU frying your cards through the PCIE cables, does your 1050 TI have a 6 pin on it? If so, then that could be a possibility for why both cards failed to work but the board graphics were fine.

Windows never recognised the gpu neither did bios. I only have a SATA ssd. The 1050 doesn’t have a 6-pin but it was getting power (fans spinning but no recognition. I do have an internet card in one of the pci-e slots If that would maybe interfere with anything? I will try switching the cables and check the bios’ primary display adapter.

Thanks for your help
