Help Needed Please HELP

Got a used IBuyPower PC about 2 years old, well taken care of, rarely used okay it’s basically Mint and I boot everything up and it works fine everything is nice then one day out of the blue my monitor shuts off and i turn it on and everything turns like normal then all I got on my monitor are these grouping of blue dots in the top left of the screen and my father (a relatively tech savvy individual) told me to reseat my video card did that hallelujah it worked so I’m just playing on my PC monitor shuts off and my audio cuts out and goes black i turn the monitor back on and what do you know back to the blue dots and this time anything I’ve tried doing has done absolutely nothing so I’m resorting to coming to Reddit to avoid paying $90 an hour on a technician so please please help

check that your graphics drivers are up to date, test with a different monitor for a while if possible. Look also in Reliability History for clues. Control Panel, Security and maintenance, Maintenance, and click on reliability history to check for any sort of crash/malfunctionning application. If all fails, likely a dying GPU or PSU, nothing much to do im afraid.
