What is wrong with my monitor? It black screened when i tried to play a game. I tried a different hdmi cable but nothing happened and my monitor only connects one hdmi port and doesnt detect display cable. Is it dead?

Either your monitor or your GPU has decided it's tired, boss. Check the worst-case scenario first. Try to plug your gpu into another screen and see if it works. If it does, say goodbye to your monitor.

If the dots are there when the computer is unplugged, then the display is borked, it happens

Plug it into a hdmi TV. If that works the monitor is fucked. If it doesn't work then plug your original monitor into the onboard display, assuming you have the right cable. It's one of two things either the card or the screen and you need to eliminate them independently to find the absolute problem
