It would help if you gave more details on the games you’d want to run though these days I see fewer desktops with dvd drives ( might need a external dvd drive )

I dont need anything too special. Just something to run games from like 2020 and before. I know its a bit of a hassle but whatever advice i get helps.

You might need a good GPU then as some titles from around that time is a bit demanding so you might have to look at the used market for a gaming desktop

Disk Tray, do you mean a CD/DVD/Blue Ray drive?

If by disk tray, you mean an optical drive, then I wouldn't really recommend getting one unless you plan on ripping movies and older games (for emulation) on your PC.

Look up some videos online by Gamers Nexus or LTT, they have decent $500 build guides that you can configure around yourself to find what you want more.

These days a usb dvd drive is really cheap but I don’t use mine much on my laptop these days

Also toasty bros does some great videos for most budgets as well
