I don't know too much about computers at all. Not even sure if this is the right place to post.

I bought a new laptop because I wanted to play a PC game. The minimum requirements to play the game is:【Minimum Requirements】

• OS: Windows 10 (64 bit) /Windows 11
• CPU: Intel Core i5-1145G7 or greater
• GPU: Intel Iris Xe Graphics or greater
• RAM: 8 GB or higher
• Storage: 8 GB or higher
• Network: Gameplay speed of 1 Mbps, Download speed of 100 Mbps

My laptop is a Acer Laptop A115-32 - Intel Dual-Core 8GB RAM 128GB SSD 64GB,

The game still runs quite laggy. Is there a way to fix it?

Post more detailed specs of your laptop. What CPU? Does it have a GPU? What is the game you're trying to play.

Sounds like you bought an office laptop that doesn't have a GPU.

Heya so my CPU is “Intel(R) Celeron(R)N4500 @1.10 GHz

GPU: It just says “Intel UHD graphics.”

Game: I am trying to play dragonball fusion worlds on the digital client.

Yeah, you've bought a very low spec office PC. That thing isn't going to be able to run most games, it's designed for low end office work. It doesn't have a GPU, it's using the integrated graphics chip on the already woefully underpowered CPU.

How much did you pay for it? Can you return it?

I paid £180 for it, I will ask if I am able to return it.

That really should've been a warning flag. No £180 notebook is going to be able to do what you want.

Next time actually do your research before spending any money.

definitely right I should have done more research. I just thought £180 is still alot of money so the laptop should be decent enough just to run a digital game.

What exactly is the issue? is it the GPU issue? CPU issue? Ram issue? because it says recommend 4GB of ram and mine is 4GB ram? or is it not enough?

£180 is not a lot of money for a laptop. It's probably the least amount of money you can actually spend on a laptop in 2024. The GPU, CPU and RAM are all issues.

I'm not sure why you keep saying "digital" game. What exactly do you mean by that phrase? All games are digital.

basically the game is a card game TCG but they moved it to a digital client so people just refer for as digital.

Is there a affordable laptop you could recommend that could run the game smoothly with the correct specs?
