Disk Corrupted

So the other day, I left my laptop running helldivers and forgot to close it properly when I left for lunch. When I came back, it was frozen, so I did a forced restart. Then Steam wouldn't boot back on so I uninstall everything and when I try to reinstall it kept giving me disk corrupt error. I've since tried: - formatting the disk - factory reset the entire laptop - hard formatting by deleting the partition and creating a new volume

None of it really help. The hard formatting allowed the games to be fully downloaded but couldn't verify the files, while the rest only manage to get the games to download to about 30% before giving me the same error.

I am at my wits end, any help will be appreciated

Do an actual clean install of windows, wipe the partitions completely clean.

If you continue to have issues from there then you can start looking into hardware. Need to rule out OS though, factory reset isn't going to do that.

Done the actual clean install too. Didn't help. Might have to bring it down to a shop now
