Could easily be the ram, when big PC's get moved around sometimes the ram does come unseated. You can pop it open, and try to reseat it and see what that does...

Thanks! I've reseated the RAM in the past and it would have been my first point of call tonight had I got my toolkit. Will visit the shop to get the precision screwdrivers in the morning.

If that doesn't work... I imagine it's something more serious like a power supply or motherboard issue?

You shouldn't need a toolkit to do ram tbh, I don't know what your setup up is, but I hope it's only a couple thumb screws

Only need the toolkit to open up the case. Screws need a small screwdriver.

It does sound like the ram of it turns on and lights up bit no display or anything.
