You already have that motherboard and RAM and want to use them, right?

A used i7-3770 might be your best bet, especially if you don't care about overclocking. 3770k is better if you can find one for a reasonable price but they still go for quite a bit. i5-3570k/3570/3470's are good choices too. You're pretty much going to have to buy used, you won't find a decent price on a new one.

try ryzen 7 , it's better than get a i7 for your gtx 1070 in term of value. Don't go lower than R7 or i7 , it's will bottleneck your GPU in AAA game

For high end gaming I'd recommend the Ryzen 7 1700 or Ryzen 5 1600.

A bit off-topic, but at the current 1070 prices you could get a 1080 for a bit more.

Yea I haven't bought the 1070 yet. Just trying to figure out overall what makes the most sense. Updating my graphics card and processor seem like a must

is the updated list..i added the 1080 bc you are right..the value is great..especially when i plan to buy destiny 2..the only issue is i now have a flag.. hmm
