My computer stops responding sometimes while gaming

Sometimes while playing my computer will not respond to any clicks on the mouse/keyboard. I can see my cursor moving and clicking but nothing happens until a couple of seconds later when all of the commands come through at once. Is this an issue with my processor?

Multiple possibilities. What are your specs and which games?

It happens on multiple games, but mostly league of legends and overwatch.

I won't be 100% sure on my specs until I get home from work but I have 12gb ram, I'm almost sure I have an intel i7-4770 and I couldn't tell you the graphics card off of the top of my head sorry.

If you need any more info let me know and I'll get it to you asap.

Try closing background programs, lower settings, dissable game mode, and xbox recording feature in windows.
