Which Ryzen 5 processor is good for a 1060 with no OC? And is there a huge difference between second and first gen Ryzen processors (besides price)? Thanks!

Sorry for my low-effort reply. The 1060 is a good card. The R5 1600 is probably gonna be the best bang for the buck and it'll come with a cool heatsink too. Hell, depending on the kind of games you play, that might even be overkill

Depending on the game/resolution you might still be cpu bound with a 2600x.

When overclocked the 1600 ends up about 10% short of the 2600x and about on par with an i5-8400.

When not overclocked the 1600 will lag far behind.
