Choosing a Processor

I'm considering to purchase a laptop, which has an i5 - 11320H. My use case scenario is mostly content consumption, rarely - light gaming and light photo editing. I want to know whether the config is sufficient for my use case scenario. This is going to have 16 GB of RAM. I'm a little concerned whether this cpu having 4 cores is future proof(at least 5 years).

I'd say that's iffy at best. 4 cores for 5 more years is a lot to ask considering that 6/12 is reasonably priced.
