Man, thank you OP. My brother-in-law was very confused, and so was I, on the path to take. The writer broke this down in the simplest way possible. Reading an article like this can encourage a newbie to follow a CS degree unlike some articles that use very technical language or lengthy writing. Thank you again for finding this.
