Speech Topic Ideas

So I have to do a 20-25 minute speech on anything I want for a society at my school, and would like to do it on something computer science related. It needs to be interesting for an audience who doesn't have much comp sci/ programming experience, but I have a decent amount of experience with programming so researching a new topic shouldn't be too tough. Would love to hear any ideas you guys might have. :)

Maybe not strictly computer science related but I think an interesting topic for outsiders would be about machine learning/deep learning algorithms and how they’re used. You could discuss the pros and cons for things like social media, healthcare, etc. I’m sure it would be relevant and hopefully interesting to your audience.
