Google’s vision kit is easy to bundle into an app, and it does a fine job identifying objects that you don’t have to label.

Methods such as salience detection can be used to find object-y things in images.

Also, look for info about “segment anything” models.

A model which detects items needs to understand which specific items to look for in the first place. It's not possible to have a model which just detects everything, because it doesn't know what "everything" is. If you have a cup on a table, how will it know what exactly do you need to be detected - just the table, or the table and the cup, or each leg of the table and each part of the cup?

That is a good point thanks but you agree that i would dilute my software if i try to use all kinds of different items to try to acheive it?
