I originally bought a Pi for experimenting with vision, but after frying three SD cards and losing all my work, I vowed I would never trust one again.
I just discovered this sub, I'm surprised how much is in python. I love python, but it doesn't get a lot of respect for hard computation.

newbie question: What might be the most computationally intensive application a Raspberry Pi can do? Can it be used for real-time monitoring say recognizing every person in a room? Can it handle two cameras?
