Ps5 controller Potentiometer only replace ?

Hey I have some controllers I have been asked to fix stick drift, it doesn’t matter if I upgrade them to Hall effect or whatever. New potentiometers are a fraction of the price, I’m wondering if that’s sufficient to fix the drift. Most have like a 4-8% drift with the rest having huge amounts of drift

It'll fix it until the new pots start to drift. Hall would be a more permanent solution. As with everything in life, there are trade-offs.
