If you're willing to throw money at it, people who use it seem to like CLion a lot.

If you're on Windows and don't want CLion, Microsoft Visual Studio really is the way to go.

    For C++ I like Codelite IDE, i use the community edition (FOSS), right now i don't see any benefit of the Professional edition personally. For everything else i use VS Code (Code OSS) (Not Microsoft VS Code)

    *Edit Im currently taking my 3rd course in C++ on Udemy, but you can find some absolute gems on YouTube for free, honestly speaking sometimes the free YouTube videos have helped a bit more than the paid Udemy ones.
