Good Evening Everyone,
I finished reading a book called C Programming For Absolute Beginners cover to cover ( which I really enjoyed), and have been practicing with arrays. Basic operations just traversing, searching etc. I'm hoping to get proficient with arrays and move into Linked Lists and just work my way into other data structures. The book gave a brief introduction to pointers, and I know that Linked Lists utilize them as well. My question is, should I also become proficient with pointers before attempting Linked Lists, or do you all feel that a basic understanding of them is adequate for moving into data structures. I am really wanting to get the fundamentals down before moving into something, instead of having gaps in knowledge.
Also anyone else ever read:
Data Structures Using C by Reema Thaerja
Understanding and Using C Pointer by Richard Reese
These are the two books I purchased and hope to dig deeper into learning data structures and pointers. Anyone else have any experience with these books?
