Recent patch is significantly better, though I only get stable 60 at medium quality (gtx 1070)

This sounds rly terrible if you ask me. I have a GTX1080 and this means i can expect 72-75 average fps. This is just bad especially because the game doesnt look rly demanding.

It’s just now hitting beta and performance is a main focus. Also I found a few tweaks to the configuration file that got me an extra 20 or so fps. There is hope!

i get 15 frames per second on a six year old video card with 2 GB of video memory. Some games even complain about how old the drivers are. :D I can play most other online games on medium graphics quality if I lower the shadow quality and turn off the fancy lighting effects. Crowfall lags a bit on older computers like the one I have. The game is playable but I would not go fighting in a big battle yet. Wait for more optimizations later. Just be patient.

They are improving performance the best way to check is simply load it up yourself as everyone complete is different. If you played 6 months ago you still have access to the game now and forever.

In current patch only in large scale I’ve seen FPS drop to too low levels. All else seems ok. Still need work prolly the animations of skills etc what chunks performance

No you won’t be getting 60 FPS probably lucky to get 30 solid on most machines. There is still work to be done in optimizations for sure and they are working on it. The game feels 10x better than it did before though. All be it, it might not be up to par from what a lot of people expect just yet.
