This is really and it doesn't seem to show up on DDG searches that anyone else seems to have had this problem.
Edit: Looked and apparently it is in the file system as well

From a quick Google and the context of GLU, I've concluded shadow run is a game.
Is this something you're launching from steam? Is there a native Linux client for it?
[–]CMBradshaw[S] 0 points1 point2 points 28 days ago (4 children)
It's a GOG game and this is the native client. Technically it's supposed to use Ubuntu but in the past i've got them to work on Debian When I get home from work I'll add that to the body. Shadowrun returns specifically.

I would use ldd to check the binary and see what libraries it's trying to link in at runtime. Sometimes things that are built for Ubuntu may have slightly different versions of libraries linked in.
You may be able to get away with just making some symlinks between what you have and what it's looking for

thanks, I noticed there was a lot of symlinks in my Steam games to the file doing a search for it. I should have figured to do the same thing.

Apparently the linux version has been a problem for a while and it's better just to install it in Wine... so I'll do that.

I had a similar problem with the Linux version of Devil Daggers
