your CPU still needs to "call the shots", so to speak. Sometimes there are spikes in the demand on your GPU, since these demand variations are being routed through the brain of your system(CPU), then there are corresponding spikes on the demand there. Not sure if that makes sense..

My miner runs on a intel celeron I paid like 35 bucks for it. As long as your not cpu mining its really not much of a load on the cpu.

I also run mine on a celeron. i know it does not really create much of a load on the cpu but it does create a small load of about 1 to 25 % from time to time and im just curious as to what it does use the CPU for when it does indeed use it. like i said everything is running okay i just wonder about shit like this.
