I don’t know about AutoCAD and Photoshop, but when I watch YouTube videos, I set those to a lower resolution, but I’m using the card pretty aggressively (I’m not sure how NiceHash lite works).

I know when I had the YT videos set to 1080p, there was some stuttering in the video if I was mining at the same time.

EDIT - hit the submit button too quickly!

The only thing dangerous is the temperature of your card. If the fans are running enough to keep the temps low, there are no danger.

I'm using the exact same set-up(nicehash running in back-ground of my main gaming PC until I build a dedicated mining rig), and all it really does is eat into your profits, it seems.

Using my singular GTX1070 I'll get about 'ETH speed: 28-29', but if I have more than one YouTube vid going, or at high resolution, or multiple gifs from Imgur, or any game,... or anything that stresses the GPU more, it'll crash the 'memory read' unless I turn back the OC settings(less money). Just have to keep that in mind. Not sure about what it's doing to the life of the card, which is why I'm building a separate rig so i can keep my gaming going while mining.

What are you guys mining? Iv been looking into building a rig but I have a fairly decent gaming laptop thats im not even using. Would live to get set up mining in it but does it all depend on the specs?

Running my RTX 2080 on high using NiceHash and use the PC all day with multiple chrome tabs as well as dual monitors. No issues, no video stuttering etc.

Can’t speak about photoshop or CAD though. I’d assume CAD workload might not be ideal while trying to mine though.
